Game Day is the second Thursday of every month! Come to room 108W at 1:00 and enjoy playing games, laughing, chatting and, hopefully, meeting new friends. Bring a game and a snack to share!
National Christmas Center—Get in the Spirit of Christmas by visiting the National Christmas Center in Lancaster on Wednesday, December 7. We’ll begin our day with a stop at the Weaver Nut Factory, followed by lunch at Miller’s for a cold buffet and then onto the Christmas center. Enjoy galleries and exhibits of Christmas’ past and present, near and far. Return to your childhood when you visit the “1944 War Time Gallery,” or the “1950’s Woolworth 5 & 10.” Maybe the “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause” room or the “Toyland Train Mountain” would be more to your liking. Either way, there’s much to see… and starting off the day with a stop at the Candy Shop can’t hurt either!
Reservation for the National Christmas Center trip must be made by December 4 (with payment). The cost is $25, which includes your lunch and museum ticket. Transportation will be provided. We'll meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 am.
