In Kidmunity we value the safety and health of all children given in our care. For those reasons, we have developed a system to ensure the highest possible environment of security for your children. You may want to read the following procedures and policies for our ministry:

  Age of Child

  Sign-in Procedure

  Notification System

  Release Procedure

Infants

Parents sign infant in at his/her room

Parents are given a numbered pager. This pager will notify the parent by vibrating to come back to the Nursery Area

The pager is the parent's identification for picking up an infant

 12 months  - Pre-school

Parents will sign in children at the child's classroom. The child will be assigned a number and the parent will be given the corresponding number on a laminated card.

Parents will be notified via a nursery alert system by projecting the child's number on the screen(s) during the worship service.

Children will be released when the laminated card is returned by the parent.

  Pre-K - 5th grade

Parents will sign their children in and check out at the Downtown Welcome Center

Parents will be notified personally in extreme cases only.

Children will be released when the parent signs the child out.
Children in 4th and 5th grade can sign themselves out with the submission of a Parent Release Form

Policies Regarding Sick Children

We ask that all parents consider the "Golden Rule" of "doing unto others as you would have them do unto you" when deciding whether to bring a unwell child to Kidmunity.
To help you make this decision we ask that you to NOT bring your child to Sunday School if they are exhibiting any one of the following symptoms:

  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
