Time to Grow, Be Transformed?...
In the church, we often talk about the need to grow and increasingly become more and more like the people God intends for us to be. We realize that faith is a journey, and God’s desire is that we would move forward in that journey and become more like him.
But how does that happen? What can help us practically do that in our lives? There are many answers to those questions, but one new way this church is hoping to answer those questions is through the Discovery Series.
The Discovery Series is a tool designed to help individuals understand the foundational truths of the Christian faith and move along on their journeys with Christ. This 
series doesn’t just pass out information. The Discovery Series is designed to help individuals develop a biblical worldview and the ability to think through issues biblically. That means the answer to a particular question isn’t as important as the ability to think through any issue flowing out of how God desires us to be as followers of Jesus. The end hope and purpose of this series is that we would be transformed people in all ways. We desire that our heads increase in knowledge, that our hearts increase in love and transform our character, and that our hands practically live this out to fulfill Jesus’ desires in this world.
The groups will meet weekly for 12 weeks either on Sunday mornings or on Wednesday evenings. Each group meeting will last from about 1 to 1 ½ hours and will take place in a small group format with 10 to 12 people maximum in each group. Each individual will complete work in between sessions upon which the sessions will be based. Once you complete the first 12 week session you can choose to participate in up to three more successive sessions. This series provides the opportunity to give valuable input into our lives for a significant amount of time for anyone at any point along the journey.
