Favorite books: “The Long Walk” a story about a WW1 Polish POW who escaped from a Siberian work camp and walked to India. I love the author Margaret George and have read all of her books (and they’re big ones!) – Cleopatra, King Henry, Mary Queen of Scotts, and Mary Magdalene.  I love to read Christian romance books, historical fiction, and biographies.  I could list all of my favorite books, but the website wouldn’t be big enough.

Favorite TV shows: Old shows: “MASH”, “Little House on the Prairie”,and “The Waltons”. ( My son and I love to watch reruns of these (excluding MASH).  Todays t.v. isn’t really kid friendly, so we don’t watch very much.  We do like, Extreme Home Makeover and Super Nanny.  After Noah is in bed, I like to watch ER and 20/20.

Currently listening to: Christian Contemporary (Michael Card and Point of Grace – Favorites), Josh Groban, and
Celtic Women.

Favorite place in the world: Germany’s Black Forest Region and Switzerland.  New Brunswick and Cape Breton in Canada.  And Tennessee’s Smokey Mountains in the USA.  I have been blessed to be able to travel to many countries throughout the world before I was married.  My dream is to travel with my husband and son to those and many other countries to experience God’s wonders and make wonderful memories with them too.

Something interesting about me that most people don't know:

  • I am a secret fan of the Bee Gees.  Please don’t let that secret out!
  • I also was blessed to be able to sit on the top of Mt. Sinai (after climbing it all night long) and sing hymns as the sun came up. A memory never to be forgotten.

Guilty Pleasures: Reading in bed until the wee hours of the morning and then sleeping in.  Double dipping pretzel sticks and apple slices in a fresh new jar of peanut butter and not feeling guilty about who will use the peanut butter next.
