/files/Staff/Bryan2.08.jpgName:  Bryan Hoke

Spouse’s Name: Kerry…   Kerry and I met in College.  I had to stalk her for about a year before I could convince her that her life would be so much better with me in it.  Married 12 years now.  Hoping to convince Kerry over the next 12 years.

Children:  I always wanted to be surrounded by lovely ladies and now I am.  We only make girls in our family.  Jordyn – 8/7/97,  Kylie – 4/4/99, Madelyn (Maddy) –12/19/01.

/files/Staff/Bryansdog.JPGPets:  A Lab/Golden mix named Maxie

Hobbies/Interests:  I enjoy most sports and still play volleyball and soccer semi-regularly.  I also enjoy working in the yard and at my last home created a fish pond with a waterfall.  The fact that the fish routinely died is why they didn’t make the pet list.

Favorite food:  French Fries are a Bryan’s best friend.  I enjoy heading to the H-A-Milton for a Hotchee Burger and Fries with Gravy.  Chips are always warmly received in my life, especially Martin’s Kettle Cooked and Gibbles’ Curly Kettle.  (The experience of eating them isn’t complete until you lick your fingers afterwards.)  They go best with Heluva Good French Onion dip.  The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is great in most any form and my favorite cookie is a meringue (egg whites, chocolate chips, and a few other ingredients).

/files/Staff/quietdo.jpgFavorite movies:  Fletch, Fletch Lives, Caddyshack, Young Guns, Young Guns II, Rush Hour, Rush Hour II, Meet The Parents  (If Caddyshack II wouldn’t have been so awful, it would have made the list as well.)/files/Staff/melblue2.gif

For my more serious side, Breakin’ and Breakin’ II – Electric Boogaloo

Okay really, Cry Freedom, Braveheart, Secondhand Lions

Favorite books:  You’re on a church website and are reading the bio of a pastor.  What else would you expect?  Did you really think I could answer in any other way?  Well if we go by what I read a lot of, then the Bible, anything by John Ortberg, John Grisham, Donald Miller and Andy Stanley would have to top the list.

Favorite TV shows:   Ed is my all time favorite, but sadly it was cancelled.

Seinfeld, Dukes of Hazzard, Everybody Loves Raymond, Happy Days, Joanie Loves Chachi are all good old school hits.

I currently watch most “reality” TV shows (Survivor, American Idol, The Amazing Race) and sports (especially the Dallas Cowboys!).  Also, Bones, Criminal Minds, Numbers, C.S.I., Monk, & Psych.

Currently listening to: Steve Fee, Kristian Stanfill, Chris Tomlin, Corinne Bailey Rae,  Rascal Flatts, Casting Crowns, Norah Jones

Favorite place in the world: Kerry and I went on a Cruise for our 10th anniversary and now we have been bitten by that Cruise bug.  So I would be into being on a Cruise Ship and the many places it may stop.

Something interesting about me that most people don't know:  I wasn’t born a pastor./files/Staff/328926632_d2b35be8f6.jpg
